The Merovingians: an historical, mythical and genealogical quest.

Must read

In the attempt to trace a “fil rouge” connecting the traditional knowledge owned by the merovingian, the Priory of Sion appears to be the initiatic Order in charge to hold that knowledge that we identify through its initiatory and esoteric rituals that are preserving it from oblivion.

This initiatic culture is to be considered the core instrument of the Order, meant to give to the posterity, inner tools forged for hundreds of years, to give access to the fullest own inner development.

The veneration of the Sacred Feminine just confirms the genuine antiquity of the ritual body, as we know that the veneration of Isis and other female deities was already present in all Europe, imported from Babylon. After the advent of christianity, simply the temples consacreted to Isis were converted in places of cult for the Virgin Mary or for Mary Magdalene also.

At the same time, we know the Prieuré de Sion doesn’t just guards a knowledge traesure, but is known to be custodian of the Merovingian Bloodline. Although some merovingian’s descendants could prefer to mantain privacy for many reasons, even not necessarily related to security.

One of the most notable actual merovingian heirs is surely Don Rubén Alberto Gavaldà Y Castro. An argentinian Prince, of spanish noble origins. Rubén Alberto Gavaldà is a direct descendant of the Gévaudan, which ancestors were the Counts of Autun and of Toulouse.

Just sticking to the historical records, since the twelfth century we find both artistic as written sources that identify the Holy Grail with the Real Blood of Jesus, delining the existance of a messianic lineage.

Analyzing the Parzival, the famous literary work of Wolfram Von Eschenbach, which is known to be a mythological story, we cannot ignore the esoteric and circumstanced elements intended to teach the knowledge to obtaining the Grail, made of teachings enveloped in myths, allegories and symbols.

It’s know since decades, that several historians has in fact highlighted successfullly unmistakable similarities between the characters of the Parzival with real people of that time and real places in the regions of Toulouse, Languedoc and Provence.

This historical perspective demonstrates clearly that the protagonsists of the history represented in the Parzival, are Merovingians.

The Counts of Toulouse were therefore Merovingians and in the Dynasty of Toulouse, Count Raymond V, that was allied to the Cathars, was persecuted to death for this by the Catholic Church of Rome, which saw in them a dangerous threat to their religious hegemony.

From the houses of Toulouse and Trencavel, following the marriage of Ruggero Tagliaferro with Adelaide of Burlats, born Raimondo-Ruggero Trencavel, died killed during the Crusade against the Albigensians, when he was captured and segregated in the prisons of his own castle, died by poisoning.

It is strongly believed that the Parzival by Wolfram Von Eschenbach, the most significant novel about the Grail, was inspired by the person and life of Raimondo-Ruggero Trencavel.

If we then, trace back to the ancient medieval legends of the french tradition, we see after the death of Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene and her children settled right in the region of Provence, to live in one of the many jewish communities distributed in Southern Gaul. That makes extremely plausible, that was from the progeny of Mary Magdalene, grown in these Jewish communities, that the merovingians would had their ancestors.

Knowing that since 2016 there is a recognization treaty between the Priory of Sion and Prince Rubén Alberto Gavaldà that was made public, we can ascertain the perpetuation of a bond between the merovingian bloodline and the Priory of Sion Knightly Order.
